The NFL Players Association released the list of the 50 NFL players that brought in the most retail sales on Monday.

Here are the top 10 players, which includes Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts as well as the Kansas City Chiefs’ superstar duo of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

  1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
  2. Jason Kelce, Philadelphia Eagles
  3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
  4. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
  5. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers
  6. Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets
  7. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
  8. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
  9. Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys
  10. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

The list was determined on the total retail sales involving each player, which includes jerseys, shirts, hoodies, bobbleheads, socks, backpacks and more (h/t Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk). The sales are totaled from March 2023 through Feb. 2024.

It’s not surprising that quarterbacks were scattered throughout the top 10, although Hurts claiming the top spot over reigning Super Bowl MVP Mahomes comes as a bit of a shock. After the Eagles narrowly fell to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57, Philadelphia’s next playoff run ended much earlier with a loss in the Wild Card Round.

Still, Hurts earned his second consecutive Pro Bowl nod in 2023. While his efficiency dipped compared to his 2022 production, he still racked up a career-high 38 rushing and passing touchdowns combined.

Mahomes’ inclusion on the list was expected, as the 28-year-old continued to add to his stellar résumé in 2023. He wrapped up his sixth consecutive season with at least 4,000 passing yards before helping the Chiefs become the first team to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in back-to-back years since the New England Patriots from 2003-04.

While Kelce has also played an important role during Kansas City’s extended period of success, his status off the field likely contributed to the high sales as well. The New Heights podcast that he hosts with his brother, Jason, who came in at No. 2 on Monday’s list, has amassed roughly 2.4 million subscribers on YouTube.

There’s also the younger Kelce’s high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, which was on display throughout the 2023 season. After she appeared at a Sep. 2023 game between the Chiefs and the Chicago Bears, Fanatics revealed Kelce’s jersey sales spiked by “nearly 400%” across the company’s network of websites (h/t TMZ Sports).

With the Eagles’ recent playoff runs and the Chiefs’ numerous Super Bowl victories, the retail sales of the star players from both teams have reflected their growing popularity.
