As the July 30 MLB trade deadline approaches, Cody Bellinger has emerged as one of the most intriguing potential trade targets. The former MVP has enjoyed a resurgence this season, slashing .270/.330/.417 with 25 extra-base hits.
With the Cubs (41-49) presumably being sellers at this year’s deadline, Bellinger will be one of the players who sparks the most interest from contending teams.
Here are three teams that could realistically trade for Cody Bellinger.
New York Yankees
The Yankees are always in the market for impact players, and Bellinger fits the bill perfectly. Apart from the league’s best hitter, Aaron Judge, the Yankees have struggled with consistency in their outfield this season due to injuries and underperformance. San Francisco Giants
