Seattle’s uniforms previously featured silver as part of the theme since their since first season in 1976 to a uniform redesign in 2002.
The Seahawks debuted the throwback uniforms, which include silver pants and helmets, last season during a Week 8 game against the Cleveland Browns.
Those alternates marked the first throwback uniforms in team history, according to UniWatch’s Paul Lukas.

The debut of last season’s uniforms was accompanied by other nods to the past, including end zones painted blue and a halftime performance from 1990s R&B artist Montell Jordan (h/t The Athletic’s Michael-Shawn Dugar.)
Fans will have to wait and see if the Seahawks bring out a similarly 1990s-themed performance for the uniform’s second appearance at Lumen Field.
The Seahawks are hosting other theme nights throughout the 2024 season including a 40th anniversary celebration of the team’s 1984 decision to retire No. 12 in honor of their fans.
