What’s coming with the next new season of Fortnite? We’re still a little away, but leaks have started flowing! We already know about a ton of new features, from the season’s theme through to the items you can collect.
It looks like Epic is revisiting some of the more fun guns we had in chapters 3 and 4. However, with some changes to make them work with Fortnite’s new style of gunplay. That’s along with Chapter 5 Season 4 leaks about the theme, bringing back Marvel.
What can we expect next season? These are the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 leaks so far.
Season Theme Fortnite Leaks – Marvel and X-Men
The big theme for the season is something we’ve known about for ages. It’s going to be another Marvel season according to C5 S4 leaks.
Each Season 4 of the first few Chapters was superhero-themed, especially Chapter 2 which was a full Marvel takeover. We’ve dropped the Superheroes lately but they’re coming back for Chapter 5.
According to the huge roadmap leak that’s been behind a lot of Fortnite news lately, it’s going to be X-Men and Marvel coming next. This is a bit more focused than the last Marvel season.
We’ve already had plenty of X-Men skins so far, but it’s been long enough that fresh players can try and unlock different versions of the most popular characters.
The big way the theme will likely affect the next season is Superhero power Mythics. We’ve had plenty of these before, but they break up the gunplay of Fortnite quite a bit. We could be looking at another season with a pretty different style of gameplay.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Leaks Battle Pass Skins
One skin we think is coming is Doctor Doom. Players might remember he already has a skin in-game, included in the Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass. However, a new version of Doom is apparently coming with the new season according to current Fortnite Leaks.
This version of Doctor Doom will likely be adapted to fit the season’s theme, kind of like Wastelander Magneto in place of normal Magneto for the Wrecked season.
Other skins will likely include other takes on Superheroes. Hopefully, we’ll have at least one in the Pass that’s a bit different though. It’s always a little dull when the entire pass caters to just one type of player’s tastes, but we don’t have a full roster from C5 S4 leaks.
Most Passes like the recent C5 S3 Battle Pass have included more than just crossover skins. It’ll be nice to get a mix of original and collab skins even if it’s a takeover season.
C5 S4 Leaks – Is There an Event?
So far in Chapter 5, we’ve had quite a few different mini-events to see us from one season into another. Starting with Chapter 5 Season 1’s Pandora Chest. Then we got a mini event with a thunderstorm to go into this season.
We don’t really expect a big full event to open this season. Nothing has shown up in Chapter 5 Season 4 leaks so far. However, if the recent ones are anything to go by, then we should start seeing smaller changes soon.
We’ve already had a Wolverine lab added to the game. This teased the character’s return. This could develop into a fuller Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 event as we get closer. The next few updates should have these files included if one is coming.
Fortnitemares
One thing we don’t need Fortnite leaks to tell us about is Fortnitemares. The seasonal Halloween event will align with this season’s date.
It’ll likely be an event we see towards the end of the season. Maybe this will even be our Event Pass update. We don’t know what skins are showing up or items just yet though.
Returning Items in C5 S4 Fortnite Leaks
So far, leaks have highlighted quite a few items making a return next season. This includes a few guns we’ve seen in recent Chapters that only stuck around for a short while. Some throwbacks, but different from the Reload weapons around at the moment.

Dual SMG
The Dual SMG is a unique weapon we’ve had a few times in the past. It’s a dual wield weapon, so you essentially get two guns at once. It’s a format other shooter games have used for pistols, but Fortnite is using the SMG. It’s a fun weapon.
Anvil Launcher
A new version of the Anvil rocket Launcher is apparently in the works in C5 S4 leaks! The launcher has been missed lately.
Epic seems to have pivoted away from the Rocket Launcher meta in more recent seasons so this is a nice addition. The Anvil Launcher was perfect at taking out vehicles but dodgy elsewhere.
This re-work will hopefully make it a bit more of a universal rocket launcher. This could be a fun addition. It might have been one of the best Fortnite weapons up against cars this season, but hopefully, it does pop up next season.
Wolverine’s Claws
The Mythic from Chapter 2 has been completely missing since its first appearance. However, with a return to a Marvel season, it makes sense that this will be coming back. The Wolverine Claws might be back with another Wolverine Boss. Although, Fortnite NPCs aren’t in the Chapter 5 Season 4 leaks so far.
The Claws might see a slightly reworked item when they come back. The game has had its baseline meta changed a lot since it first turned up, so it might need a refresh if it’s coming back. This is one of the Fortnite leaks that’s already being teased in-game.
Striker Burst Rifle
A re-done version of the Burst is seemingly planned for the next Fortnite season! The Striker burst was a really fun part of its loot pool. Highly accurate, and possibly well-designed for the current Fortnite Mod System.
The Striker Burst is apparently receiving some bigger changes for this update to the game. It played great last time though so hopefully we’ll see a similar gun when it does return.
Fall Guys Comes in C5 S4 Leaks
One of the Fortnite leaks that’s a bit more up in the air is the future of creative and other game modes. We get leaks on these but they aren’t really timed as closely as normal seasons.
We’ve been expecting Fortnite X Fall Guys for a while and it has been teased since the last event too. If it isn’t in the Chapter 5 Season 4 Leaks, then there will likely have been a delay since we’re expecting this in Chapter 5.
By the looks of how Epic has been updating its communication channels, leakers think Fall Guys might be coming next season. This would mean game modes available and new Creative options.
It’s a bit of a weirder inclusion, but has the potential to really open up the types of games available to players. It’ll be especially interesting to see how all the skins and cosmetics manage the transfer over to bean form.

Beginning only in August, it’s strange to be discussing the end of a season. However, with Fortnite OG coming back, it’ll be a busy year before Chapter 6 begins still.
