US Actress Tiffany Haddish Celebrates Seeing Fruits And Groceries In A Zimbabwean Supermarket

American actress Tiffany Haddish evoked amusement after she celebrated seeing fruits and groceries in a Zimbabwean supermarket.

The Night School star has been in Zimbabwe for the past two weeks, and she is experiencing every bit of life she can in the country. Recently, she went into a local supermarket where she was strangely surprised that Zimbabwe has grocery stores.

Tiffany Haddish Shares Experience In A Zimbabwe Supermarket

She exclaiming:

“So I’m out here in Zimbabwe in Harare and look at the grocery store. They got a GROCERY STORE. It’s beautiful in the grocery store. Look at these organic strawberries. This is what I love. They sell sugarcane. This is fire. Look at this store. It’s huge. It’s absolutely humongous. In Africa baby.”

Tiffany went on to show the various merchandise in the shop aisles, also telling fans some of the prices. Nearly two weeks ago, the actress was in Victoria Falls where she marvelled at the sight of the natural wonder.

Western media often perpetuate negative stereotypes about Africa, portraying it as a monolithic, impoverished continent. Some from outside the continent may arrive with these preconceived notions and be surprised when they encounter a more diverse reality.

Some online had mixed reactions to Tiffany Haddish as she showed off onions and appliances in a Harare supermarket.
