Ryan Garcia can’t stop beefing with people. At first, the Victorville native was feuding with other boxers, but now he seems to have expanded his horizons. After his now-infamous bout against Devin Haney in April, ‘King Ry’ tested positive for Ostarine, which eventually led to his year-long suspension and the fight result being overturned to a no-contest.
Later, he made headlines again for making racist and Islamophobic comments on the internet, which saw the 25-year-old boxer getting banned by the World Boxing Council (WBC) from ever fighting for their titles. And now, Garcia seems to have picked up beef with Palestinian American YouTuber Fousey, who claimed Garcia’s breath smelled like alcohol.

However, the clash didn’t stop there. Still recording the exchange, the duo took their argument inside the gym. Once inside, Garcia shifted his focus to Fousey’s followers, hurling insults at them in response to their criticism. “F**k Fousey’s chads. I see you guys talking s**t about me. F**k you guys. You guys are some f**king b**ch a** motherf***ers. If I see you in person, nothing you got to say to my face,” Garcia said taunting his followers.
This was later picked up by Happy Punch on X, who shared a short clip of the incident with their followers, writing, “Ryan Garcia and Fousey gotta be the most random beef of 2024.” Seeing the banned boxer yet again get into an altercation, fans quickly started sharing their thoughts about it in the comments.
Fousey vs. Garcia branded drunken fist
Drama such as these doesn’t take long to go viral on the internet, and Garcia and Fousey’s antics were no different. One user highlighted that Garcia’s drinking problem could have caused the entire thing. “Ryan got beef with everyone after drinking 😤,” the user wrote. This is not the first time Garcia has been accused of being drunk. Even during his press conference for the Haney fight, it became a widely discussed topic.
The next user had an interesting idea to resolve the issue between Ryan Garcia and Fousey. The user commented, “Get Ryan Garcia and Fousey in the ring!!” However, since Garcia has been competing professionally in the sport for well over a decade, it wouldn’t really be a fair matchup.

Someone else compared Garcia with another controversial celebrity in pop culture. “Ryan Garcia …. The Kanye West of the fight game. Insane skill. But mostly just insane,” commented the user. Kanye West, like Garcia, has been embroiled in a plethora of controversies in recent times.
Another user criticized Ryan Garcia, suggesting he should learn from boxing legends while labeling him an immature YouTuber. “@RyanGarcia looks like a clown. He should take a lesson from Ali on how to keep it classy and intelligent. Comes off as an [immature] YouTuber,” the user wrote. Notably, Garcia’s actions appear to be a calculated effort to gain popularity by stirring up one controversy after another.

One user even had the predictions for the fight between Fousey and Garcia ready. “A drunk Garcia KOs Fousey. Call it drunken fist 🤣 😂”, the user wrote. After everything Garcia has been through, billing one of his fights “drunken fist” isn’t far-fetched.
It appears that, in true Ryan Garcia fashion, the Victorville native is turning people’s heads for all the wrong reasons. Will this turn into a potential influencer boxing match? Very unlikely. Only time will tell what’s in the cards for Garcia. What did you think of the altercation?
