On March 13, 2024, Saquon Barkley joined a new franchise – the Philadelphia Eagles – after exiting from the New York Giants. He signed a three-year, $37.75 million contract, “that could be worth up to $46.75 million and includes $26 million fully guaranteed money.” However, just 5 months after his signing, the running back has another major announcement to make.

In a new Instagram story, Saquon Barkley teased fans by saying that he is about to join a new franchise again. By uploading the story, a few hours ago, along with his signature, Barkley wrote: “Before Anyone Else Reports It I Want You To Hear It From Me First. I’m About To Join A New Franchise… Again. Big Announcement Tomorrow.” So, does that mean Barkley is going to sign with another team, especially when the regular season is about to begin just after 3 days?

Whatever the announcement is, one thing is certain: Barkley’s news has created a buzz among social media users, who are already speculating about what the RB might be revealing. And out of multiple speculations, one thing which stands above all is: Saquon Barkley might be joining a new brand for endorsement, as one fan said, “Clearly a branding kind of thing. Nothing burger.” While another one too, chimed in with similar thoughts, “Gotta be a branding deal…” Now it’s obvious for fans to think like that, because just five months ago, when Barkley signed with Philadelphia, he said, “I’m excited to be here with this team.
