With Store Awards 2024, Microsoft wants to know what you think the best apps are in the Microsoft Store, reports Windows Central.
Both developers and users can nominate apps — including their own — and there are only two stipulations: first, a nominated app must be publicly available in the Microsoft Store as of September 15, 2024, and second, a nominated app cannot be owned by Microsoft employees. Games are eligible for nomination as well.
“We want to look at apps both big and small, by huge brands and also by individuals and indie developers. We want to see nominated apps that will inspire others to build beautiful and useful apps for Windows. We want to recognize the Windows apps that you use every day, and which help make your life easier or better.”

The nomination process is now open and will remain so until Sunday, September 15, 2024, after which each nominated app will be evaluated based on its user experience, innovation, uniqueness, and integration with the latest hardware and technology.
If you want to nominate an app, you can use this official form provided by Microsoft. If you want to nominate multiple apps, you must submit the form multiple times, once per app.
The winners of the Microsoft Store Awards 2024 will be announced sometime in October.
