New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers suffered a concussion in Thursday’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

Nabers took a hard hit in the fourth quarter of the 20-15 loss while trying to hang on to a pass from Daniel Jones as he fell out of bounds. The receiver departed for the locker room shortly after.

Nabers assured fans he was “all good” in a post on Instagram after the game.

Before exiting, Nabers had 115 receiving yards on 12 receptions, continuing what has been an outstanding rookie season. The No. 6 pick in the 2024 draft has 386 receiving yards and 35 receptions, leading the NFL in both categories. His three receiving touchdowns are also tied for the most in the league early this season.

Nabers’ phenomenal rookie year will temporarily come to a halt, though it’s unclear if he’ll miss any game action. Players typically return from concussions after about a week and a half, though that timeline depends on the severity of the concussion.

Since New York played on a Thursday, it will have the next 10 days off before facing the Seattle Seahawks next Sunday. That time frame will give Nabers the chance to potentially be ready to go for Week 5, but the Giants likely won’t rush his return.

After Thursday’s loss, New York is 1-3, losing its first two games to the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders before picking up a win last week against the Cleveland Browns.
