Blessed with remarkable hand speed and an unrivaled boxing IQ, Floyd Mayweather scaled the sporting mountain, defeating an array of legendary fighters.
Utilizing his shoulder role, the boxer developed a reputation for making his rivals miss and ultimately pay with his sharp counters.
But it wasn’t just his skills in the ring that made the Michigan fighter a superstar, but his braggadocious attitude outside of competition.
Mayweather regularly partied into the night, and often spent time showing off how much money he has, which unsurprisingly rubbed some fans up the wrong way.

However, this all played into his hands, as those boxing enthusiasts would ultimately buy the PPV in the hope he’d lose.
But while externally, the icon presented a wild lifestyle, he never forgot the importance of working hard, with Joe Rogan telling a powerful tale.
During JRE MMA Show 102, with Dustin Poirier, the UFC commentator said: “Floyd Mayweather, he’s the only guy who’s been able to just be balling out of control, constantly flashing money, million dollar watches, a fleet of super expensive cars, and still f**ks everybody up. He’s the only guy.
“The thing about Floyd is that he never lost his discipline. Floyd’s discipline was undeniable. Floyd would famously run home from the nightclub.
“So, he would go out in Vegas, he’d be partying, and then he would have his driver drive. With his f**ing jeans on, he (Floyd) would jog home. The dude was always training; he never got out of shape.”

While impressed by Mayweather’s dedication, the boxer never really terrified Rogan with his performances inside the squared circle.
In fact, there’s only one fighter in history that really freaked out the mixed martial arts aficionado.
Bearing in mind the New Jersey native has sat cageside to watch some of the most fearsome warriors of all time battle it out, it takes someone truly special to stand out from the pack.
During an episode of his podcast, Rogan opened up about the identity of the explosive combat sports legend who shook him to his boots.
