Having begun her journey at Sterling Savings Bank in 2005, Ms. Kimball was promoted to customer service supervisor within two years. Transitioning to a new area she continued to hone her client relations and team management skills through the same role at WaFd Bank from 2011 until 2015. This is when she advanced to the position of Personal Banker where she extended her specialty in banking to include lending, mortgage and custom construction loans until 2019. Her passion for helping people buy and build houses was evident during this period.
While working in the banking channel, Ms. Kimball discovered a lot of clients needed more than money managers, her clients’ livelihoods depended on smart financial decisions – decisions that extended beyond the solutions available at the bank. That’s when she decided to pursue the education and licensing needed to become a financial advisor and carve a new path, helping people in her community not only grow their retirement accounts, but preserve their assets, estate and legacy with comprehensive financial planning.
Ms. Kimball’s educational background includes an associate degree from Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, and an associate in fine arts degree from Everett Community College, both in Washington. Highly qualified in her field, she secured several professional designations, including as a licensed insurance agent and with the SIE, Series 66 and Series 7 licensure through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Her career was Influenced by her and her husband’s fulfilling roles as civilians with the U.S. Navy, Ms. Kimball was involved in morale, welfare and recreation for military personnel. Her natural planning abilities and experiences creating positive environments for various age groups laid the foundation for her interest in financial services. Ms. Kimball attributes her achievements to her mom, who lost her battle with breast cancer after ten years. Ms. Kimball finds great inspiration in women who not only overcome hardships, but also flourish. Her mother, an educator, dedicated herself to her students year-round, spanning generations within the same families. Her tireless efforts and passion continue to inspire Ms. Kimball today.
