Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons is set to return to the lineup on Sunday following a four-game absence due to a high left ankle sprain, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer.
Parsons completed Saturday’s practice without any issues, per Archer.
He will rejoin the 3-5 Cowboys for their Week 10 home matchup against the red-hot Philadelphia Eagles.
News of Parsons’ return comes shortly after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that quarterback Dak Prescott is planning to undergo season-ending surgery to repair a partially torn hamstring, pending one final specialist’s opinion.
Parsons’ comeback will be a major boost to the Cowboys’ defense in Prescott’s absence.
The linebacker was injured in Week 4 during a 20-15 victory over the New York Giants, where he recorded two tackles, including one for a loss.
This season, Parsons has recorded 14 tackles and one sack in four games for the Cowboys.
Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
