The New York Jets’ struggles continued on Sunday.
With a 28-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, the Jets fell to 3-8 on the season and their playoff hopes continued to dwindle.
Aaron Rodgers completed 22 of his 29 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns and running back Breece Hall had 78 yards and a touchdown on the ground, but it wasn’t enough to top Anthony Richardson, who had 272 passing yards and a touchdown.
After Sunday’s performance, fans called out Rodgers and the Jets on social media.

This is not easily quantifiable but it is very possible the 2024 New York #Jets are the worst coached team in the history of sports.
When the owner said “thinking is overrated” who could have known he meant that literally.

The last time Aaron Rodgers had a 300 yard passing game was Dec 12, 2021.

The Jets selling their soul for Aaron Rodgers only for him to be a washed up bum and the team faring even worse than it did under Zach Wilson was the most Jets outcome possible, really.

The Jets deserve better than the old, unenthused and completely uninspired Aaron Rodgers.
Rodgers is just out there collecting checks. I’m no longer convinced he still craves winning as he once did.

The Jets lose. They are 3-8.
Another truly embarrassing loss in a season full of them.
Enjoy the bye week.
After losing five straight games, the Jets got back in the win column with a victory over the Houston Texans two weeks ago. New York’s offense found some life and looked good in that matchup, but it wasn’t a sign of things to come.
The Jets lost 31-6 last week before losing a close one on Sunday. They’ll head into their bye week with little to show for thus far.
Rodgers’ 20th season hasn’t exactly been memorable, and his tenure in New York continues to disappoint fans. When he joined the Jets ahead of the 2023 season, there were hopes that he could turn them into a Super Bowl contender. It’s safe to say New York is far from being a playoff contender, let alone a championship contender.
After the bye week, the Jets will face the Seattle Seahawks to kick off the December slate as they try to salvage what is left of another letdown of a season.
