Avintia Real Estate Group has begun construction on a hotel in Vallecas, a district of Madrid, adopting an innovative industrialized construction method known as ávita. With an investment of over 11 million euros, this hotel will be operated by the B&B Hotels chain once completed, with an opening scheduled for December 2025.
This new establishment is part of a long-term collaboration between Avintia and B&B Hotels. Since 2021, the two companies have launched a plan to build 10 hotels in the Madrid region and Andalusia by the end of 2025. This partnership reflects their shared goal of expanding the hotel offering in Spain while adhering to high sustainability standards.
The B&B Vallecas, a 3-star hotel designed by Arquivir Arquitectos, will offer 159 rooms spread across a total area of 5,734 m². The hotel aims to obtain the Breeam Good environmental certification, recognizing its low ecological impact.
Thanks to the ávita construction method, the project benefits from significant gains in terms of efficiency and sustainability:
- 30% reduction in construction timelines.
- 75% reduction in waste generated on the construction site.
- Water savings (-20%), raw materials, and concrete (-50%).
- 40% reduction in CO₂ emissions and 50% reduction in noise pollution.
These advances help minimize the environmental impact while promoting local development.
With this project, Avintia Real Estate continues to expand its portfolio, which now exceeds 100 million euros and includes over 1,000 rooms in hotel projects across Spain. This new hotel highlights the group’s commitment to innovative and sustainable solutions in the hospitality sector, while strengthening its market position.
