“It’s always a beautiful thing when you get to grow up with your family and be around family and like, you actually like them!” says Ayesha Curry. And it looks like love is abundant among the Currys.
Stephen Curry may be a household name for his NBA success, but his life off the court also grabs attention. At 36, he’s the oldest, with his brother Seth, 34, and his sister Sydel, 30. It’s safe to say that their parents, Dell and Sonya, raised them all with love and support!
The family is big on wine-tasting trips, and Ayesha and Sydel are definitely besties. The two even co-own Domaine Curry Wines in Napa, proving the bond between them goes beyond just family. But, as the little sister, Sydel had to vet all of her brother’s girlfriends! Recently on Food People by Bon Appetit, Sydel confessed that she had shooed away some of the 2x MVP’s girlfriends earlier.

But what about when Ayesha walked into Steph’s life?
“Obviously, I am that little sister to older brothers. So, you know, there’s a little bit of like, ‘Do I like you’ in the beginning, you know? I will probably say that I ran off a couple of girlfriends. Thanks. Before Ayesha. And literally a week into knowing her, I was like, ah, crap, here we are. Well, you’re here to stay. Because I actually like you. And so, yeah, it’s just been a very natural, authentic relationship between the two of us. I love that, like, I was her maid of honor at her wedding. And, you know, we’ve grown so much since then.” said Sydel.
Looks like Ayesha passed her sister-in-law’s test, and they have been strengthening their bond ever since! Because opening a wine company together? That can’t be done without a good relationship. And it feels like their bond will always remain like this because Ayesha considers Sydel her “sister-in-love”.

Ayesha Curry is living ‘the life’ with her sister Sydel, rocking some killer outfits and having a blast! Ayesha, 35, headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for Sydel’s big 30th birthday celebration last month. Over the weekend, Steph Curry’s better half shared sweet memories with Sydel on social media. The two got into a little friendly competition, showing off their Western-inspired looks. Ayesha posted a picture in a horseback riding and guitar-playing outfit, captioning it “Wyoming for Delly’s Dirty 30,” referring to Sydel.
Sydel, the birthday girl, opted for cowboy boots and a hat but added a twist with a pink dress. Ayesha also took a moment to wish her ‘sister-in-love’ a happy birthday exactly at midnight on Instagram stories. But, here’s the funny part: Stephen Curry shared his birthday wishes with only two hours left on the birthday clock, a full 22 hours late!

When it came to taking shots, the girls didn’t do it the typical way—they paired up. And in every pair, Sydel was the repeated face! They also poke fun at each other on Instagram. Ayesha and Steph had gotten into the Halloween spirit, dressing up in matching pirate costumes. The couple posted their looks on Instagram, and Sydel couldn’t help but joke, commenting, “With the pump in hand!” Ayesha had a quick comeback, responding with “Four ti—-s.”
They even run a business together!

“This wine venture has been so amazing from the beginning. I’m just so excited that we’re still here and we’re growing and doing more and more,” Sydell said. Ayesha and her sister-in-love, Sydel, are back with their luxury wine brand, Domaine Curry, which first launched in 2018. After being acquired by Constellation Brands in June ’23, the brand is now part of Prisoner Wine Company’s family.
Ayesha Curry shared on Instagram that Domaine Curry is all about celebrating the strong women in their family and empowering fearless women everywhere in the world. An honorably commendable mission statement for sure!
