New Orleans Saints: Trending Down

The New Orleans Saints lost a tough game against the Los Angeles Rams last week, and also lost do everything player Taysom Hill for the season in the process. Now sitting at 4-8, the Saints are going to need to win all their remaining games and hope the Falcons and Buccaneers are both upset. Without Hill that may be a tough proposition, but a game against a reeling Giants team may be what they need to start their way back into the discussion for the division.

New York Giants: Trending Down

The New York Giants have been trending down for some time. They are tied for the worst record in the NFL at 2-10, and have lost their last 7 games. Now led by QB Drew Lock after they released Daniel Jones, the Giants are fighting more for the top overall pick than for the NFC East crown. Choosing not to retain Saquon Barkley in the offseason was one of the worst moves made by a team this offseason, as Barkley has looked like an MVP candidate and the Giants thus far have floundered. They are playing for nothing but pride at this point, as they were eliminated from playoff contention last week.
