The NFL Week 16 slate of Sunday games will cap off with a Sunday Night Football matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-6) on the road against the Dallas Cowboys (6-8).
The Cowboys lead the all-time series between these teams, 13-6, but the home team has won five of their six most-recent meetings. They last faced off in the regular season back in 2022, with the Bucs winning in Dallas, 19-3. The Cowboys, however, have the most recent victory, beating the Bucs in Tampa Bay, 19-3, in the NFC wild card round in January 2023.
The one good thing about the Eagles losing to the Commanders earlier in the day, is that they officially knocked the Cowboys out of contention for a playoff spot. The Buccaneers, however, are still in the postseason hunt and currently sit at No. 1 in the NFC South.
