Saints DE Cam Jordan announces Transformative Legacy Scholarship Program for Louisiana students

New Orleans Saints DE Cam Jordan has announced the launch of the Transformative Legacy Scholarship Program for high school seniors in Louisiana. The program will award four high school seniors with full tuition coverage for four years at an in-state college or university and is being supported in part by Raising Cane’s, Google Pathfinder Beyond Sports, Microsoft, and Entergy.

Jordan said, “Through this program, we aim to empower future leaders each year who will make a meaningful difference in their communities and beyond. Investing in our youth is investing in the future of Louisiana. I am also so grateful that we have several incredible partners who have come on board to help me in this endeavor.”

There are three main Program Objectives for the Cam Jordan Foundation Legacy Scholarship. Expand Access to higher Education by providing financial support to students from underserved backgrounds. Foster Career Readiness through equipping students with skills and professional networks such as mentorship, workshops, and internships. Build Community Leadership as we develop future leaders committed to positively impacting their communities.

The Cam Jordan Foundation Legacy Scholarship Program covers up to $12,500 annually for each recipient for tuition, with remaining funds applied to books, room and board, or other expenses. Recipients will also receive a new laptop provided by Microsoft to support academic success.

Applicants must be Louisiana residents and high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, demonstrate financial need (proof of income required), and show a history of community service, leadership, or extracurricular involvement. They must also commit to attending a public in-state college or university in Louisiana.

Students may submit an application starting Monday, February 10 through Saturday, March 15, 2025. Award announcements will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
