The Ford F-150 is the king of the American car market. The brand sells hundreds of thousands of pickups of its F-series, such as the F-150 and F-250, annually. In 2024, this amounted to no less than 765,649 units. The F-series has even been the most popular pickup for 48 years in a row. Ford has also broken a milestone in Europe with a pickup. The Ford Ranger—a model of a completely different order than the F-models—was the most popular pickup in Europe in 2024, Ford proudly reports.
According to Ford, the RangerFord’s Ranger is the best-selling pickup vehicle in Europe. was good for almost half of European pick-up registrations in 2024. The market share of the Ranger was 43.6 percent. More than four in ten of all pick-ups registered in Europe last year were a Ranger. How many units are we talking about? 60,400 units, four percent more than in 2023. It is certainly not the first time that the Ranger is the most popular pick-up in Europe. In fact, it is the tenth year in a row that the Ranger has claimed the top position.
