Two of the best teams in the NBA face off on Saturday when the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Boston Celtics in what could be the game of the season.

Since the stunning acquisition of Luka Doncic, the Los Angeles Lakers have been on a tear, winning eight of their last ten games. They’ve been nearly unstoppable, not losing to a team above .500 since early January.
Although their best player, LeBron James, is 40 years old, the Lakers have firmly established themselves as legitimate title contenders this season. However, their championship aspirations will be put to the test Saturday night, as they go up against a Boston Celtics team that looks determined to defend its title and prove why it’s still the team to beat.

Boston is coming off three wins in a row, most recently defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 123-105 behind 35 points and seven rebounds from star swingman Jayson Tatum. Tatum is averaging 26.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists on the season, maintaining his status as one of the 15 best players in the league.
Boston doesn’t just depend on Tatum, however, as the team is as deep as they come in the NBA. The Celtics won a game last week in which Derrick White and Payton Pritchard, two of their non-star pieces, combined for 84 points on their own.
Tune in to ABC or ESPN Deportes at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night to catch what could be an early NBA Finals preview when the Celtics take on LeBron James and the Lakers.
