At least 16 people were injured when a roof collapsed “in the blink of an eye” during a massive bash near the University of Pittsburgh Friday, according to harrowing video and reports.

Footage circulating on social media shows the moment several green-clad revelers packed on an awning plummet when it crumples under their feet — and on top of even more partiers on the porch below.

Just seconds before the collapse over one dozen people can be seen on top of the back porch roof.

One person standing under the collapsed roof made it out uninjured and lamented about the harsh end to the festivities.

“It just fell,” Carlton Gbur told CBS, adding, “Everyone was having fun, and then no one was having fun.”

Sixteen students were taken to area hospitals suffering from a range of injuries, with three in serious condition, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The most serious included concussions and arm and leg injuries, local officials told the outlet.

At least a dozen others were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Other witnesses say the cave-in happened before anyone could react to the minor catastrophe.

“It all just happened in the blink of an eye, the roof just collapsed on us, it felt so scary, I really don’t have the words to comprehend how I felt in the moment,” Michael Estocin told CBS News.

Officials estimate that as many as 500 people were stuffed in the courtyard shared by several homes.

The home was deemed safe after the incident, but the porch is condemned, according to the outlet.
