Product testers Annamarie Higley and Dylan Fischer kicked off testing by making a vinaigrette with a 1:3 vinegar-to-oil ratio. While on turbo, our testers noticed the blender suctioning to the bottom of the container and switched it to standard speed. After 15 seconds, the mixture was a bit bubbly but ultimately well-mixed and creamy. It took four and a half hours before the dressing re-separated.

Soup Testing

After they finished making the dressing, our team heated two cans of Campbell’s Chunky Savory Vegetable soup to 200 degrees. After turning the heat off, Annamarie dipped the immersion blender into the soup. After 90 seconds, Dylan described the blended soup as creamy and airy. He compared it to liquid caramel and, once the bubbles settled, a smooth bisque. “This killed it on the blending test. Most the other models left the soup with a gritty texture, but the Ninja’s end result was completely smooth and much more appetizing,” raves Annamarie.

Whipped Cream Testing

For this test, our team added one cup of whipping cream to the container and used the whisk attachment on low. They gradually increased the speed, ending on high. After 70 seconds of blending, the volume of the cream doubled and stiff peaks were forming.
