When you’re a fan of Apple’s Macs there are a few different options for you to consider, but the iconic iMac is the desktop option that most people tend to gravitate to. Until recently the iMac M3 was a solid option thanks to a fast chip and gorgeous display that helped it to earn the top spot as the best overall desktop around. But times change and Apple’s new M4 iMac is here. The M4 processor increased the CPU core count and early tests suggest that it’s a bit of a beast. With improved AI performance just in time for the launch of Apple Intelligence, this is the new Mac to beat. The new M4 iMac will be available on Nov. 8, but you can preorder it today.

Best M4 iMacs deals
Here are the top preorder deals for the iMac M4. We’ll continue to update with new offers as they drop.
There aren’t any direct discounts from Apple, but if you use your Apple Card*, you can score 3% off the retail price. And if you have an old device lying around, you can score some extra bucks off with a trade-in. Exact trade-in value depends on the device being traded, with highest values from M3 iMacs.
You can chose from seven different colors. You can also pick between 8-core and 10-core CPU and GPU, as well as different storage options.
Apple’s latest iMac is now available for preorder at Amazon and will go on sale on Nov. 8. It isn’t currently available with any discount, though that could change once the all-in-one Mac has officially gone on sale.
Best Buy is also offering preorders of the new iMac M4. The retailer is throwing in discounts for its members as well, offering $50 off the 256GB iMac M4 model and $100 off the 512GB iMac M4 model with a My Best Buy Plus membership. You can also save when you trade in a similar device.
