Mike Tyson hyped up his upcoming bout with Jake Paul ahead of Friday’s event at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“This is the biggest fight in the history of life. There’s never been a fight this big,” Tyson told TMZ Sports on Tuesday.

When asked for a round prediction, Tyson answered, “Well, I’m not a psychic, but he’s going to be sleeping.”

The upcoming bout will mark Tyson’s first professionally sanctioned fight since 2005.

Tyson, 58, is a former world heavyweight champion who enters the fight with a record of 50-6 (44 knockouts.) He most recently saw action in 2020 with an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr.

Paul, a 27-year-old former YouTuber who began his professional boxing career in 2018, enters the bout with a 10-1 record (seven knockouts.) He has won four straight fights, most recently scoring a sixth-round TKO victory over Mike Perry in July.

The two were initially set to meet in July before the fight was delayed after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up.

“Forget about that, I’m good now… there’s nothing that’s going to hinder me from beating Jake Paul,” Tyson said when asked about his previous health issues by TMZ Sports.

Tyson confirmed that he lost around 20 pounds when dealing with the health issue, but said he had “gotten it all back.”

Netflix has previewed the upcoming bout with Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson, a documentary series detailing Paul and Tyson’s training for the fight.

The event, which is set to take place at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, will be streamed on Netflix. The fight card is rounded out by Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano for the women’s super lightweight title, Mario “El Azteca” Barrios vs. Abel Ramos for the welterweight title and Neeraj Goyat vs. Whindersson Nunes in a super middleweight bout.
