Colorado head coach Deion Sanders confirmed that he hasn’t spoken to any NFL teams about potentially joining the same organization as his son, Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

“I have not spoken to anyone about a package deal or anyone about a deal, period,” Deion said during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show (3:00 mark).

Shedeur looked impressive throughout his second year in Boulder and is expected to hear his name called during the 2025 NFL draft. He was chosen with the No. 2 overall pick in the latest mock draft of the top 10 selections from Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter previously revealed that the possibility of the father-son duo teaming up once again in the NFL is an “option.”

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler also reported that it wouldn’t be a surprise if an NFL team looking for a new head coach reached out to Coach Prime to fill the vacancy.

He appears to be focused on staying with the Buffaloes, though.

“I have one of the best, if not the best, AD in the country in Rick George and I’m confident that we’re going to get something done to keep me here so that we can bring this wonderful city a national championship,” Deion said on Friday (3:15 mark).

As the 57-year-old attempts to help the Buffaloes reach 10 wins for the first time since 2016, he doesn’t appear to be considering following his son to the NFL at the moment.
